The Encyclopædia Planetæ -- The Worlds Beyond the League

THE LOCAL NEIGHBORHOOD AND the reach of the League of Worlds is not even to be considered a drop in the bucket of the wondrous variety of worlds and systems that lie further out in the Orion Arm and Milky Way. There are places undreamt of, places that are both mundane in the extreme and grossly overdone in their sheer and unheard of differences. Civilizations and natural wonders alike are to be found out there, largely beyond the ken of Mankind... at least for the foreseeable future.

This section, more than any other in the Encyclopædia Planetæ, is incomplete and filled with theories and unknowns. Even in this modern year of the League, we are still just beginning to send unmanned probes to these distant regions, followed by ArcWay Construction Modules, and lastly by explorers and colonists. But it is a long process, and as the Frontier expands slowly, our knowledge of the Worlds Beyond expands at an even slower rate. It's a big Galaxy, and an infinite Universe. We must take our time.
